We engaged Xen from a leadership coaching perspective as we felt there was a need to create increased connectivity within our team whilst managing large levels of change.

In addition, we were seeking a practical approach that incorporated strategies for our leaders to manage their own emotions along with implementing tools for them to be more effective leaders and communicators.

Xen’s approach starts from what steps you have in place to commence your day, how to deal with situations throughout your day and then how to close the day to reflect and then ensure that you show up the next day ready to go.

Tools that we have implemented as a business are, starting meetings with breathing techniques to create clarity and purpose, reducing emotion from communication to escalate topics to be factual, looking at change and how we adapt to ensure that change is part of the journey, tools on how to reflect on managing emotions – especially empowering leadership.

We have really appreciated Xen’s energy and passion he has brought to our business.

Xen ... your ability to connect with the group to make us feel you are genuine, was noticeable, we might have been closed off to begin with but your energy opened us up quickly.

It was a great opportunity to get to know the rest of the group with personal content that didn’t feel overly confronting, it felt like it was targeted to allow us to show our colors comfortably.

What I got out of the sessions was more of a review of my current situation, like a circuit breaker or helicopter view for me to think, I’m doing alright but I can definitely make some changes personally and professionally.

The other outcome was feeling more confident and comfortable with the rest of the group, plus realising that we are all very similar, and a group of good people which may have taken a lot longer to work out without these coaching sessions.

I had a extremely positive experience with Xen when completing the Thrive Now Coaching Academy short course spanning over 3 weeks.

I highly recommend to anyone who is feeling resistant to change and wanting to improve the environment that you're living in. The course requires you to be very transparent and honest with yourself, but what you get out of it is truly amazing once you start shifting your focus.

Friends asked me what it was like, and I said it feels like Xen has 6 arms and is just constantly lifting you up and empowering you - weird analogy but made sense to me.
